Gary - Re: "I recalled in May 97, Intel issued a similar warning which was also Europe related. Anybody remembered ?" I remember that clearly. Intel was vague about the reason Europe was down, and they gave the same muddled confused excuses as yesterday's warnings. As I also recall, the stock recovered in July after Intel's actual earnings release - which was OK - whereas many analysts had given Intel up for dead at the time of the May preaanouncement. Paul
