In an around here will be the best opportunity to buy stocks since October of 1998. Chips may have a bit farther to go before a bottom. If there is late afternoon selloff today and a monday panic of sorts, the buy point should be late monday, tuesday or wednesday. If the market holds up today we could churn for another week or two.

Tony, good points. I think that while most (not all) of Intel's business is more of a commodity than before, they will be fine. They may have to be happy with a 25-30 PE going forward, that's all. Ditto on MU.

Also, the guys assertion that we should all be investing in the bandwidth companies is fine except for one thing: these companies have insane valuations, imho.
