Someone else pm'd me a method based on market cap, and that comes out to about half too. So I would say you are probably correct.

Not really sure but how abou this....

If all the NAZ100 stocks are down 5%, then NAZ is down 5% - right... but the percentage of INTC is still 6.63% - right again? so 5% off the NAZ at 3718 is 185. 6.63% of that is only 12 points... right???
