The contribution from its wireless communications, network communications, and communications products groups is still a small portion of Intel's overall business, accounting for less than 20% of Intel's $8.3 bln in sales last quarter. Names like Vitesse Semiconductor (VTSS), QLogic (QLGC), PMC-Sierra (PMCS), and Conexant Systems (CNXT) come to mind, but the best opportunities are likely to be in those companies that derive a small portion of their total sales from Europe. Outside of this area, we expect traders will use the knee-jerk dip in bandwidth purveyors, such as JDS Uniphase (JDSU), Ciena (CIENA), and Corvis (CORV), to pick up shares at less expensive prices. Needless to say, the action in the early-going will be decidedly negative, and probably fast and furious, but that doesn't mean there aren't any money-making opportunities"
