Hi Inder.

The selling does not look all that bad. A lot of stocks have held up quite well. The SOX is finally turning up, with a corresponding turn in the COMPX. Let's if this rally finally holds for the day.

Does any know if the closing numbers for stocks on SI are accurate. I tried to get some KOPN at the close at 21 1/2 since it bounced with the market leaders when it should normally not have. My broker could not get an accurate quote. The bid and ask were 20 3/8 to 20 5/8 while the last was 22 5/8. My screen showed 22. Something is up with this company, but I still don't know if I got any or if the closing numbers are accurate. Boy, what a mess.

Have a good weekend everyone. Can some post how the TV media tries to spin this tonight and over the weekend.
I am not sure how to explain this myself so the reading of market sentiment is more important than ever right now.

Strong close if the numbers are accurate. This may be the end of month rally I was expecting. They should try to keep it stable till the end of month so that the Funds look good. I expect a huge sell off after as they will have no reason to hold and earnings visibility is just plain lousy right now.
