The numbers on that chart came from Bloomberg. I started looking them up when a colleague pointed out the German numbers. I am not sure they are correct. I usually have pretty much faith in the stuff Bloomberg produces though. I am pretty sure they can't be under US GAAP, as I think B-berg just takes the reported earnings numbers in their data base and produces a consolidated number. The results would therefore be under local accounting regulations.
