I guess I'm wrong. Certainly anyone with a mutual fund has Intel I suppose. I just read Rudedog post that INTC was one of his core holdings. I guess I just don't understand INTC. I certainly don't understand the chip business (even though I hold LSI). My impression has been though that this 'PC' chip thing has been a diminishing return for Intel for quite awhile now. In fact, I've been under that impression for about 4 years which is partly why I became and remain so concentrated in SUNW to the exclusion of so much else. --- I don't mean to gloat (as much as my weathered smile wants to after holding tightly to the SUNW mast through the swells with Wintel squalls and threats of heavy weather). --- JDN, rudedog and any other friends here down with INTC. Buck up. I'd think a company of Intel's mass will be right in the thick of it in a few years when ubiquity is in full swing. In the meantime, don't take any wooden Euros. :) -JCJ

P., I have been behind eavesdropping on my SUNW friends. Have been going over in my mind what I want to do with my INTC position and have been thinking about losing MSFT for quite some time. Your thoughts are like mine. I'm keeping the darn INTC ('though I'm so ticked that they warned), will sell the MSFT at about 100% profit.....at least I'm getting out with a profit, OK?...and am studying this weekend where I want to put that money. Looking at some of the newer networking companies AND very strongly considering buying more SUNW here. Somebody said they'd have a $3 cost basis after the next split. I think mine will be about $5.
These markets I guess are going to roil away for sometime. I do guess that year end we will be higher.
My very best wishes to everyone.
Sueponine.
