There is always talk of Brinker retiring in December every year. I guess that is when the contract with ABC comes up for renewal. As long as there is a sizable listening audience, I think ABC will carry him. I don't think they will be inclined to drop him because of his large cash position, though if it had been NBC I would have wondered, since they also own the bubblevision channel, aka CNBC...

Yes, I think he will be in fine form tomorrow. And why not? He had forecast that individual stocks will keep blowing up throughout the rest of the year. And who would have thought it would be Intel?! If it can happen to Intel, it can happen to pretty much any other company...
