Don, short term we were due for a bottom, further the INTC "news" were no news at all IMHO, secondly their earnings will suffer very little, and the mania is alive. Further you have "end of quarter" next week.

Also oil retreated a bit all are signs that the maniacs can buy stocks.

October that's another story.

The Dow up 30 with Intel down huge? There is some MAJOR strength in the old industrials here.

Don, I think psychology is EVERYTHING in this market. I can see da big boyz saying this: "If techs won't go down on the INTC news, they are not going to go down" They will then proceed to unwind the hedges and the market will go up
