check Glenn Neely's (sp?) book on waves..it's supposed to be very good. i didn't get around to it yet myself. anyway, there are also books on the wave principle by Prechter and Frost which are very good.

it's a pity that Prechter's reputation has been destroyed by the futile search for a top in this mania...he frequently produces very insightful research, and his basic premises on the cause/effect relationships in manias and bears are imo hitting the nail on the head.

Better consider the fact that Elliot waves just might be for dummies. So much of the darn stuff is open to interpretation. Personally, I happen to believe that there probably is something to the entire cycle phenomena, but the true keys are still to be found. I did a lot of original work on this years ago, and some of the results were fantastic. OTH, other results bombed out big time. Now if I had more time... :-) R
