As far as Intel investors asking for more detailed guidance, we know it's not going to happen. That's Intel, you can buy it or sell it, but you are not going to change their secretive culture.

You didn't ask for my personal opinion, and I thank you for that. Trying to generalize the opinions of Intel investors is difficult, that's my best effort.

John,

Thanks for your comments. I understand that many Intel longs have a small basis and I wasn't expecting them to leave the stock. I was hoping, however, that they would demand a change.

Its interesting that you feel a sense of being locked out of that process. I don't kid myself that shareholders carry a lot of weight but I do believe that they can make their voices heard and that management must listen.

Frankly I think that things must be worse then what we are seeing and more stuff will come to the surface in the next few months. It seems to me that some management changes are in order.

I thought I might have put you on the spot so I asked the same question of Elmer on the Intel thread. I am trying to get a better handle on what is going on not only because of my AMD investment but because I am considering Intel for my 401.

Thanks again...and I think I know what your personal view.

Can you believe nearly 300 million shares have traded today...apparently its a new record.

Niceguy,

What would a close below $20 signal?

John,

That you are very bad at picking a bottom? <g> Couldn't resist that remark.

In trying to find an old post of yours on the non-mod thread, I noted your posts on CA and Xerox. Are you unfortunate enough to own stocks in the those two companies?

And finally is it possible for tech stocks to have a minus value like -6 or -4.........'cause I think the tech stocks are trying to get to that level....and it is anything but funny!
