Incredible volume into close. . . .I will continue to rotate into the BEST of the BEST stocks into the after hours. . . selling everything that is dormant. . .except some Rat Dogs and a few tiny sleeper stocks.

The volume was impressive after a sharp and scary drop on fear. Any old-timer will tell you that fact alone is cause for a rally to begin.

Central bank intervention on the Euro helped some. Clinton's oil supply "threat" helped, too.

OT> We interrupt this market commentary for a brief political rant. . . .

. . .I am embarrassed for the U.S. that Clinton would "actually" go ahead and release our Strategic Petroleum Reserves!! . .they are a quite small fraction of a single days Middle-Eastern oil production. . . and were intended strictly for military and governmental use. Let the public use it up, and we make America vulnerable. We are sending a message of fear . . .and our squirt gun will not go very far toward filling the swimming pool of consumer demand. Don't get me started. . . .

This year the U.S. also auctioned off supply dumps of strategic raw materials which are not available in North America, yet would be critical to the emergency making of ammunition and missiles. . were we to suddenly go to war.

Why we auctioned these off, I have yet to figure out. Add in the treaties which place American soldiers under the flag of the United Nations. . .allowing the possibility of foreign troops on American soil and the newly granted ability for American soldiers to turn on U.S. citizens, under an "action of terrorism". . .and there are movements trying to take away our right to bear arms!! . . .add all these together and we U.S. citizens are more vulnerable NOW than at any time since the stars of our flag were sewn in a circle.
