JXM:

My only problem with releasing the SOR is it won't solve the problem. If it was to alleviate the heating oil crisis then it would be good. Now all it means is the county won't import as much and the oil from the mid east and south america will be diverted else where. This will benefit Europe and it should lower the price.

Consider we have less refineries (some thing like 30+ have been closed over the last 10 years in US) and less transport ships.

The government should start to implement policies to curtail usage until this is resolved.

Hey I can be wrong.
