Adherance to the timeframe is significantly less important than aderance to the supply/demand dynamic defined by the activity in relation to the pertinent lines.
The timeframe has much more variance. The 1/2 rule is an average while the ACT value is definite.
The unerring result of IL violation is the only 100% part of the algorithm. RR targets are only reached about 90% of the time. And...the ACT is actually breached to the downside about 50% of the time. And...about 40% of the time, price actually moves higher than RR projection while 10% of the time...RR is not reached.
