Jim, the Europe thing is just an excuse IMHO. That move on oil is so obviously politically motivated it stinks. How bout the euro intervention? Timely? There is no guarantee that the intervention will have the desired effect. Japanese attempted to restore the value of the yen in recent years, with no success and the British government lost billions trying to keep sterling in sync with the mark. They spent billions and failed. What is ironic is the WE are supporting the euro because they don't have the money to do it???? Monty
