Go look at how many black senators, representatives or Governors there are in the Republican party (FYI, it is 0, 1 and 0). And compare it with the numbers on the Democratic side.

It is the Democratic party that has brought down the walls of discrimination -- this time, by appointing Lieberman as the VP nominee. I am sure that the first woman Presidential candidate (there has already been a lady VP candidate and surprise, surprise, it was from the Democratic party) and the first black (or Hispanic or any other minority group) VP and Presidential candidates will also be from the Democratic party.
