Haim, I also ran across some info that Sun's E10000 replacement will not be out until mid next year now, which means much longer than expected until they will have a competitive high end product. I'm becoming more cynical about the whole situation. IBM is in a situation where the engineers have done their job and provided great products. The problem is upper management is so incompetent that they continue to screw up and leave the door wide open for Sun instead of slamming it in their face. If I was in charge, it would be lights out for Sun. I can't understand the logic being used by the current bean counters and decision makers. In a few years, case studies will likely be written about the incompetence of top IBM management.
