Hi tejek! Kind of ironic. The last time I posted to you AMD was at 30$ and RMBS was at 85$. At that time i suggested that you sell your AMD and buy RMBS. I also told you to keep your eye on 85$. Today we closed AMD at 25 1/2$ and RMBS at 85 1/2$. Did you take my advice or were you still listening to Scumbria?

ted, RE:GWB
Sigh. He doesn't play that "good advisors" thing here in Texas, that is only for national consumption. In Texas, the governor is not really expected to do much beyond kiss babies and open supermarket equivalents, sorta like the vice president of the US. The governor only has some power of appointment, some veto power over budget and legislation and all the back slapping and speeches he (or she) can make. Everyone knows this, and so they don't expect the governor to know or do a whole lot. And he really isn't dumb, he just doesn't want to bother with details. And why should he? If he messes up, there will always be someone to bail him out, or he can talk his way out of trouble, just look at his life. Now if you or I were running a company, found out that things were going down the tubes, and dumped all of our stock, "forgetting" to file with the SEC for 9 months, we'd be in jail. Or take another. If we were in the Air National Guard and "forget" to have a mandatory drug test, where would we be? Hint: running for president would probably not be an option.

Details have never been important for the Shrub, and he isn't going to change now.
