Based on the closing prices today, a chart has been assembled showing the difference between the price today and its highest price achieved earlier this year. As you pointed out, many of the stocks are roughly 50 percent of their highest value this year. Specifically, of the 33 stocks, 18 are 50 percent, or lower, than their highest value this year. Earnings estimates from First Call were updated yesterday as well as the long term growth estimates from Zacks. During this past cycle, 10 of the stocks in the list have split. These are AMAT, ASML, ASYT, CMOS, COHU, KLAC, LRCX, NVLS, SMTL, and TER.
