Interesting read for serious LT investors..

Check out this interview with Celera's J. Craig Venter. It is important to note the comment that the "privately funded company....finished its rough map of the genome in less than two years, approximately 13 years fewer than the public project had predicted it would complete its map...." Then take a look at the last question and paragraph of the article where Mr. Venter believes it will take 10-20 years for this technology to affect medicine as we know it.

I have a feeling with companies like DNAP, the time frame is going to be speeded up considerably and I see the day 1-2 years from now where we will be getting our personal genetic codes for preventive medicine purposes.

That, my friends, is where the value of our investment will blossom, big time.
