Are you smoking crack or are you as apparently stupid and ignorant as you sound posting on public boards regarding MU forcing TXN to convert their debt to common stock?

Guess what? Current stock price has absolutely nothing to do with the number of shares TXN will get for the $740mm in debt they are being forced to convert. Given the MU stock split, TXN gets 24,666,666 shares of common whether the stock is $100 or $40 per share. And no cash is raised in the transaction, although future cash outlays like interest expense and principal repayment are avoided.

Better go back to Rambo Dreamland where such moronic comments sail by in the normal course of the day.
