Covad Expected to Have 200,000 Lines in Service at End of Third Quarter, Surpassing Additions by Over 30%
SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 11, 2000-- Covad Communications (Nasdaq:COVD - news), the nation's leading broadband services provider utilizing DSL (digital subscriber line) technology, today announced that it will reach an installed base of 200,000,subscriber lines, exceeding Wall Street analyst expectations for additions in the third quarter by over 30 percent.
