there is a temporal memory effect that propagates down stream This sounds a lot like the effects which are obtained by an artifical neural net program. They are very interesting software algorythms, simple in contruction, but once trained can perform some really clever things which are not at all obvious to the original programmer. (I have some patents pending on neural net applications so I have dealt with them in some depth.) I was unable to locate some university sites which had good explanations and sample code. I have some references back at work if I can find the right box. TP
