Canadians will consistently tell pollsters that if their tax money is used responsibly.. they dont have a problem paying higher taxes if it means money going in to support health care, education, environmental policies etc.. so Gore doesnt scare me at all.. and quite frankly.. with the way the planet is going to pot around us.. we could use a few more "environmentalist freaks" in office. (tho I dont partiuclarly consider Gore one of those) Better that then a President who would get lax with the big companies over pollution and let em do whatever the heck they wanted.. we had that in the 80's with Reagan and his absolute ignorance about acid rain.. no thanks..
