I've often wondered whether a securities fraud case could be built around marketing "disinformation," if it could be shown that investors read and rely on it, too.

I disagree that Microsoft has discovered the Internet, YET. --- Employees of that company post to this thread about 'open standards' like parrots miming Sun Microsystems and everyone else. The parrots though belie the facts. --- At every turn, I read about a new (same ol same ol) embrace and extend(TM) action that shows, these guys JUST DON'T GET IT. --- Here's yet another one about that 'focused squarely' MS Outlook email program. Anyone using MS Outlook as an email client should change to something else (*anything else), and *soon* if you haven't already. slashdot.org -JCJ
