Flats, IMO we should only allow pick-ups if they have big tool boxes mounted in the back. Thus, they would still be available for those who actually need them, and the yuppies would shun them... someone might think that they work with their hands and manipulate actual objects, instead of spreadsheets.

As much as I rant about SUVs, I'm actually in negotiations on a pickup myself. Of course, it will be my second vehicle, and will only see about 2K miles per year. My primary driver will remain a 30mpg Integra, so I won't be burning much more in the way of fossil fuels.
