Oh, I agree... anyone can be wrong, but I thought your post showed thought and it was well developed, and was good reading...<g> I'm long some crude and I also have short calls on them... however, I'm long a good amount of natural gas with short calls on each one of them as well... at this point in time, all these covered call positions are well deep in the money and the time premiums are wearing in my favor... so I can withstand any reasonable correction until the dust settles... the premiums in the natural gas option market are unbelievable... one particular point you made in your post which I though was cogent and to the point is the fact that natural gas will not likely be influenced by Clinton's maneuver as much as crude oil and crude oil derivatives themselves... I take that as a plus for my current long natural gas positions.....
