Free vs. $99, I'll take free.

Won't there be more interoperability, standardization and buyer demand with a Microsoft or AOL/TIVO product than a Worldgate one? Just asking.

Never hurts to ask. Wgat doesn't need MSFT, all they need is the Cable companies, and they already have Charter, Comcast and many others. WGATs patents and lead time on product should also help them.

WEB TV is DEAD. FAT Client is DEAD. Why do you think the founder of WEB TV left? The only real potential competition for WGAT is Liberate, who is 50% owned by Oracle.
