I have to disagree with you here, Arch...OPEC is pi$$ed off. The higher prices WERE the reason they were cheating on and raising their quotas, and I think they will roll back the quotas with their next meeting. There are lots of other inflationary forces at work now besides energy...wage price inflation is just getting started, as are health care costs (which effect virtually every U.S. industry). The dollars weakness (if it continues) will contribute as well...Time will tell; what the SPR release does do is moves the timetable back a bit (maybe a few months untill after the election).
