Except that the preordain-ness (sic!) could NOT be reinforced, as it could not admit of degrees (preordained meaning ABSOLUTELY so), and thus, the attempt to influence the future by prayer would either be illusury, or illusury, but it would still not be illusury.

What I just said may seem illusury, but I have confronted it as a 20 finger problem (as contrasted with Holme's, (so many pipes) problems) so I think I'm right. Of course, one can only drink so much before one starts becoming foolish again...

It's a bitter pill to swallow if you really think about it.

I suppose it would be if true. That kind of determinism is impossible without a causal nature to it. Maybe that cause does exist, but we are not able to see it.
