Brian, Great articles - there are many of them out there these days, but the market seems to be in a funk that it can't shake. If there are 10 articles like the ones you posted and 1 article that sees the "semi cycle over", the market goes into a big selloff based on the bad news. In other words, the market seems to be in a mode where it only recognizes bad news - maybe yesterday was the "turn around" day so it will recognize some good news.
