Marconi, Tein in Big Belgacom Deal -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SEPTEMBER 15, 2000 PITTSBURGH -- In another major optical networking win, Marconi (London: MNI), a global provider of advanced communications solutions, with systems integrator TEIN TELECOM, has announced the signing of a three year, $87.5 million (62 million pounds sterling) contract with Belgian national operator, Belgacom, for a nationwide network.
