"AMD will likely remain in a position of wanting to push marketshare growth through lower prices."

Comment: There will come a point, unless INTC pulls a rabbit out of the hat about which nothing hitherto has been released (i.e I just don't see the P4 as a major AMD obstacle in the short term, or for that matter, the long term, based on information glimpses to date), I would guess in Q2 Y2001 (maybe even much sooner as in Q4 Y2000), when demand for ATHY, owing to widespread understanding of its superior architecture and SMOOTH performance, outstrips AMD's capacity to produce...That is when Athy premium pricing will come into play...The perception of AMD as the "$1.00 store" is in the process of being reshaped!!!
