WWS/OT Gore's a real left ideologue. He'll hurt us big time if elected.

History of picking up on oil and gas issues, then mounting a major propaganda campaign of exaggeration and distortion against this essential segment of our private economy to condition people into believing big government is "the good guy" vs the evil oil people who in truth work hard to supply our nation with oil, NG and products. And do so in spite of an increasingly difficult set of environmental, regulatory and just plain old anti-oil propaganda tossed in front of em by left/liberal politicians.

After reading your url, you've helped convince me Gore is shooting for the title "Joe McCarthy of the oil and gas world"! I wouldn't believe a word that comes out of him or his campaign organization.

Only a small possibility. But if this crisis that Clinton/Gore helped create due to neglect of energy issues or outright opposition to our industry for 8 years, I wonder.... If things get bad enough during the next 12 months, will this demagog use the crisis as a pretext to nationalize large parts of the petroleum industry in the U.S.? OK, know am risking being called paranoid. However, IMHO, it's beginning to look more and more like this might actually be the real LT Gore agenda.

Think about it:

1. Years of bashing and the oil industry and obstructing critically important oil and NG development in a growing number of geographic areas with one absurdly goofy environmental pretext after another!

2. An SPR is put under gov control (and NOW we can see only too clearly it wasn't really intended for national security as we were promised. HA!).

3. The latest chapter of gov elbowing a segment of the private oil and gas economy out of the way and usurping its economic function? Why, the new gov controled heating oil reserve.

And what is the next step in this slow motion takeover of one segment of the oil biz after another? As this energy crisis deepens what new expedients will these predatory left wing politicos use to grab more economic POWER from our nations productive private economy?

The big picture agenda was written long before most of us were born. "Ownership of the means of production and distribution in key industries of the economy". That is one of the definitions of Socialism.

Again I'm NOT predicting Clinton/Gore WILL takeover the petroleum industry or even a large fraction of same. Only saying we can't dismiss the possibility of it in the period between now, January 01 and the end of next summer.

The absurdity of it all is that these are the same morons who helped get us into this mess in the first place!
