All the positive outlook in the world won't help if the market tanks ... and it won't help if AMD comes up short on October 11. I'm lots more sure that the second won't happen than the first. I'm really concerned now with the interest rates -- though glad for the euro intervention as it looks like the FED has finally figured out that high US rates are Killing Europe & the rest of the world. Time to buy some PAP? tgptndr

Ted: re screwdriver shops.. I've been in contact with Rob Guella, President of R&B Computing in Ottawa.. a store that is AMD-only (and where I ordered my Duron 600 and Asus MB from) ... he says business is booming up there.. the people that come into his store have mostly done extensive research on computers and know that they want to go with an AMD solution.. (proving once again Canadians read more.. cough.. grin) he's going to send me a price list tomorrow or Monday of Durons/T-birds as well as KT-133 motherboards to give a look-see at Canadian pricings on these.
