To all,

I just returned from the Verizon Wireless kiosk at a mall in Northern NJ. I saw a new Qualcomm phone which they said just came in yesterday. It is a tri-mode and is intended for use in the national plans. It was a nice looking little phone similar in shape and size to the Audiovoxx tri-mode. They are charging $120 for it when you sign up for a 1 year contract, national or otherwise. In addition to the Q and Audiovoxx phone they also had 2 Motorola models for national plan use. He said they all were pushing (and using for themselves)the Qualcomm phones first, then the Audiovoxx and the Motorolas 3rd. I asked why and he said it has the best sound quality. The front of the phone had Qualcomm's name on it. When you turned it over, Kyocera was written on it with monochromatic black.
