You mean the idiot Robert Barry? Yes, Jewish law comes from the Old Testaments. The Old Testaments are about the God Yahwey which most Jews call YHWY so as not to provoke his name. What's odd is Christians, Jews and Moslems refer to as the main God is the Old Testament Yahwey. Lot of blood spilled over the next step.
