Mishedlo,

RDRAM will get a boost from the P4 launch. There seems to be disagreement as to the size of the launch. Some saying that there will only be a 100K machines , Intel saying there will be hundreds of thousands of machines and others like myself saying that indications are at least a 1 M machines. The revellation yesterday that the P4 is targeted for release in consumer PCs as well as workstations suggests that the volume of this launch will be higher than the expected.

In addition, RDRAM will get a big shot in the arm from the launch of the Timna chip next quarter. This is a value segment product for very high volume applications.

Thus, I think contrary to Zeev and some others that the fundamentals behind RAMBUS are very strong and this will only be made stronger by the litigation in Europe.
Thus, the TA and the FA are in agreement not disagreement IMO.

:)

Michael,

The market is acting right now as if it believes MU's case is WEAK WEAK WEAK.

I doubt that the market has the faintest clue about Micron's case.
