Good point about not owning stocks that you sell puts on, but having them still be stocks you'd like to own (of course you hope you "guessed" right and won't own them).
Really you don't lose on cov calls though, unless you would have sold the stock while it was up in price (if it is going down); presumably you sold cov calls because you didn't want or didn't intend to sell it.
