Hey Gloop .... did you watch the Mich./Illinois game??? Watched only the last ten minutes ..... appalling refs (in both directions), finally handing Michigan the game on a botched no-fumble call with 3 mins to go. Feel almost unclean accepting that victory .... but we'll take it. <g>

Gloop, I believe that you seriously mis-read OG's message, not only the basic meaning, but the intent. The "smoking crack" comment is a very common catch phrase in the circles that I run in, meaning "you must be nuts if you think this is true". And I don't think that he was saying that about what your friend was saying, because you didn't say that your friend said that these bands who are just starting thought that they would make it big with the free distribution. Your friend's point was about the threat to the music industry (label's and distribution), which we all agree on. I believe that OG was making a seperate point that was unrelated to what your message stated. He wasn't necessarily contradicting your point, nor reinforcing it. I have read the exchange several times, and I still can't see why you were offended by OG's post nor why you have interpreted it as you have. JXM
