Mine were in the "Gifted and ADV Placement" but that was in public schools.....it all started to change after they got out! Here in the South, busing has definitely hurt the school system. Putting a first grader on a bus, and making them ride to a school 45 minutes away, is ridiculous! Once Boston got a taste of their own medicine, everyone shut up pretty fast, didn't they? They didn't want their kids bused, but it was okay to bus ours! Doesn't work that way!
