>>>Anyone with 1/2 a brain knows it's part of their pay these days

Tom, it is interesting to see what some people buy into and how they view things
first let me say I have no position in ONXX right now although I have played it both ways, mainly short, over the last few weeks
as to the insider sells as "PART of their pay these days"

lets look at her background:
>>>MARY ANN RAFFERTY has served as Vice President, organizational Developmentsince November 1999. From February 1998 to November 1999, Ms. Rafferty served as Vice President, Human Resources and previously as Director, Human Resources from April 1996 to February 1998. Prior to joining us, Ms. Rafferty served as Director, Human Resources at Biogenex, Inc., a pharmaceutical company, from June 1995 to April 1996. Ms. Rafferty holds a B.A. in Communications and Linguistics from State University New York, Albany

so we have a 4 year employee who is in let's say less than a huge critical position

during the year 2000 she has:
exercised 37,306 options at an average price of $8.46
sold 100% of the 37,306 shares at an average price of $23.91

so, as PART of her pay she enjoyed a $576,000 profit

maybe some of us are underpaid?

It looks to me like she just flipped her options.

JMHO.
