Maybe a bit late to the party. I have been trading the parent to JDSU for as long as I have been with JDS-FITEL.. Got in OCLI, ETEK, and now SDLI. I believe the "discount" has now all but caught up to Furukawa Electric and so have no present position, though am long SDLI presently. Landis has a good eye, only a year too late IMO.... Sharck

Question re FUWAY: Most sources I've used to call up quotes shows the recent prices in the mid-200 range (249 last Friday) -- but ZERO trading-volume for anytime in the recent past. And other sources (like Yahoo) say the symbol doesn't even exist (I've even tried doing symbol-searches under Furokawa, and gotten nothing). Any idea what's up with this? I assume it HAS been trading on some exchange (most of my sources show it on the OTC/BB -- if that's right, it must be the highest-priced stock traded there), so I'm wondering if I need to enter some special ticker-notation to get the correct info... TIA... Vagabond
