Funny thing about antitrust law. It's really political.

As Shapiro and Varian point out in Information Rules (A Network reference) antitrust is a fact of life and has to be dealt with, especially by those companies that develop a natural monopoly.

I fall into the camp that doesn't like what happened to softie but believe that Gates and company is going to have to deal with it, hopefully effectively.
