Michael,

I'm doing a microprocessor design, which has a SDRAM/DDR interface.

I have never been a big proponent of DDR. Check my posts. From a price/performance point of view, DDR appears to be a much better solution than DRDRAM. That is assuming that it works.

As far as I'm concerned I'm pretty happy with PC133, and don't really care much about DRDRAM or DDR. If DDR doesn't work, it doesn't have much impact on me.

Now that it is becoming apparent that DDR is vaporware, you can expect the pretentious one to disassociate himself from it after advocating it for more than a year.<LOL>

By the way, an engineer that designs chips and does not understand electrical design is not in the top rank of electrical engineers.
