Les--

They're not exactly "Alternative" in the true sense of the word, but they are certainly interesting investments/trading stocks.

I've been watching the developing story with NRG and XEL since the spin off from NSP...and I've watched them only go up missing the recent ride. I'm looking for a pull back for an entry myself. I just don't know if this recent decline is it yet.

CPN makes me nervous. It's become a big mo-mo play. They may also have trouble expanding their power generating facilities. There's a battle brewing over a new facility in WI for example that CPN might lose. I wonder if this is happening other places as well? (Seems the locals don't want carpet-bagging Californians fouling their evnironment and wrecking the small town atmosphere to feed Chicago.) IIRC they've got some serious debt too.

Don't follow AES.

What are you thinking?
