Good article. I think that oil prices, the euro, and the general state of inflation will greatly effect how fast the bandwidth is consumed. If the general public is having a tough time putting food on the table, filling up the family car and heating the home, I expect that high speed Internet excess will have to wait. I believe that wireless and high speed Internet will be had by most in the future, it's the rate that the public can afford to adopt it that I think is over estimated. Also, I think that those laying the pipe will have trouble making in profitable any time soon. The race for market share may cripple the industry going forward. Just like many .coms are going bust because they spent too much on advertising trying to get market share. The future of the telecom business may have similar fate. Look at AMZN. They have quite the big debt hole to dig out of. I expect that we will see a major slow down in the growth rate telecom sector in the next two year.
