In light of recent events, I retract my statement on the merging of the PDA with the Phone: the-gadgeteer.com handspring.com My stance was I could not see a future for a PDA/Phone making a PDA obsolete. This was based on screen size, we need a larger screen for spread sheets and other programs. But after I seen the new Visor phone, (I always wondered why the Visor had a mic and no recorder device built in, now I know why the mic - for the phone)...there will always be the need for just a PDA, but the merger of the PDA/CELL Phone is on the way.
