Many candle stick and TA in general are based on the assumption that the markets opens at a certain time and close at a certain time wen all or most participants can sell or buy equities, futures etc. IMHO those theories need adjustments as financial instruments including futures are trading around the clock. After hours and pre market volumes are quite substantial in certain days and one must add to that trading on overseas exchanges. Candelsticks based TA is most affected by around the clock trading. Bottom line it gets more difficult by the day <GGGGG> Haim
