Abit BXR2 running a C566->850 (MSI Master slotket with a golden orb fan). I'll be upgrading to a PIII 800 in October when the next round of price decreases hit. I upgraded from a c300a->450.

I do a fair amount of SETI@HOME and RC5 distributed computing projects and am trying to learn Linux and networking, so I have 7 computers going at once right now in my home office. Three are for general use (my main one, a linux BP6 box, and a C433 for my daughter). The others are very cheap ($200ish with hand me down parts, for example my C566 soon) boxes that are running SETI@HOME or RC5.

forums.anandtech.com has tons of info on Distributed Computing projects. SETI@HOME makes for a good screen saver and let's you computer work instead of just sitting there and wasting electricity.
